Earlier this week we had an office meeting down at the beautiful pre-sales and museum space sponsored by Bosa Development, all as part of their marketing of their new luxury condo on the waterfront, the gorgeous and ultra-luxury Pacific Gate.
“Rethink Downtown” — www.rethinkdowntown.com
The space is awesome — go visit, or let us know if you want to go — it is a beautifully designed history of downtown San Diego complete with huge model map showing all of the buildings being planned in the not too distant future. The space is called “Rethink Downtown,” a catchphrase designed to get people to consider the beauty of urban living, and also with an eye toward how our city will be shaped and formed in the future. Many see it as San Diego’s natural evolution and emerging reputation toward being a truly world-class destination and place to live.
Bosa’s focus, of course, is on their new 45-story “super prime” condo development called Pacific Gate, at the corner of Pacific Highway and Broadway. What the “super prime” distinction means is that this building will begin to place San Diego in the company of world-class architectural leaders like London, New York, Dubai, Beijing.
“Super prime real estate” is characterized by “architecturally iconic buildings with highly refined design and finishes, 24-hour service and state-of-the-art security in an absolutely irreplaceable and highly desirable location.” While pricing and details for Pacific Gate are not yet available, units will likely start in the $1millions, with plans for 1-3 bedrooms, distinctive views, top-notch amenities, and 16,000sf of retail space.
Pacific Gate is being designed by renowned architects Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates of New York.
Lots of people from professionals to empty nesters to snowbirds and investors are likely doing a lot of (re)-thinking, we imagine — many developers have a sense that San Diego’s next wave is quickly approaching.
“Rethink Downtown” will be open for about another six weeks at which point the space will become Bosa’s official sales center for Pacific Gate. Call us and let us know when you’d like to go downtown to take a look around — or better yet, let us show you how to pre-register to get on the list and get more information!
